Nurse Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our dynamic Emergency Department team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional with excellent interpersonal skills to contribute to the delivery of high quality patient care.
- This role offers a unique chance to support and mentor the nursing team in planning, assessment, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based patient care.
- The successful candidate will adhere to AHPRA professional standards, code of ethics, and conduct, legislative requirements, and health policies.
- Foster a learning environment through clinical presentations to support the nursing team with their professional development and maintain own professional learning.
- A valued member of the inter-disciplinary team, providing exceptional patient care by actively contributing to team processes and practices.
- Support and mentor the nursing team in planning, assessment, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based patient care.
- Demonstrate professional practice by adhering to AHPRA professional standards, code of ethics, and conduct, legislative requirements, and health policies.
- Foster a learning environment through clinical presentations to support the nursing team with their professional development and maintain own professional learning.
- Act as a valued member of the inter-disciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care by actively contributing to team processes and practices.
- Collaborate with external partners to ensure patients receive high-quality care across the healthcare continuum.
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in ED with strong clinical experience and knowledge in resuscitation, triage, and team leader roles.
- Post Graduate Certificate in Emergency Nursing or working towards.
- Understanding of the Australian National Commission in Quality and Safety Ten National Standards.
- Ability to work within a team environment and demonstrate initiative.
- High-level written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
