Volunteer Event Support Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced individuals to join our team as Event Staff for the Junior Schools Cup. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic and fast-paced event.
Job Description:As an Event Staff member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the tournament. Your responsibilities will include setting up courts and equipment, verifying net height and tension, and distributing match equipment. You will also be responsible for monitoring match progress and court activity, adjusting net heights as required, and collecting and verifying completed score sheets.
Additionally, you will need to record match results in the VQ Results Management System and update any physical results displays. You may also be required to work with teams and duty officials to ensure they are present and prepared.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Prior venue or event management experience is highly desirable.
- A current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) is mandatory.
- Casual positions available.
- Approximately eight Event Staff will be engaged for the event period.
- Accommodation will be provided if you reside more than 1 hour from your assigned venue.
- A 30-minute break will be provided every 5 hours.
- This form is for Expression of Interest only and does not guarantee a position.
- Ensuring that all roles are casual and may be offered based on availability and suitability.
