Job Title: Stores Supervisor

Mount Gibson Iron is seeking an experienced Stores Supervisor to join our team at our Koolan Island Operation. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to personnel, ensuring a safe, reliable, and productive crew.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for the safety of personnel under their control, monitoring and reporting on warehouse inventory levels, stock outs, and duplicate warehouse stock management processes.
  • Coordinate services to support the warehousing function, including airfreight, sea freight, parts availability, and storage, while ensuring a safe work environment.
  • Advise and guide Store Persons to deliver services and support for departmental functions, including airfreight, unloading, and accounting for inbound goods.
  • Implement and participate in daily area inspections to ensure a safe work area and maintain the required standard.
  • Coordinate and direct team members in accurate demobilisation processes, ensuring the accuracy of all Dangerous Goods demobilisations.
  • Internal and external coordination with planning, logistics, purchasing, and inventory departments to ensure all items are available for required planned jobs.
Requirements:
  • Cert 4 in Warehouse Operations or equivalent qualification in a related field or relevant experience.
  • WHS Statutory Mining Supervisor course certification, including units of competency BSBWHS411 & BSBWHS414, and passed the applicable law examination for Statutory Supervisors.
  • Current Drivers licence WA C Class, Sound load restraint experience, Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC), and Dangerous Goods by Sea Certificate (IMDG Full Accept).
  • High level Microsoft, Teams, Excel, and Pronto (or similar inventory management system) skill base, Licences to perform High Risk Work, including LF (Forklift) and DG (Perform Dogging & RB Basic Rigging).
