Process Engineer II

Key Responsibilities:
As a Process Engineer II at Gilmour Space Technologies, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing processes and related infrastructure according to our requirements. This includes documenting and communicating across teams to ensure duties are performed efficiently and timely, while adhering to our policies and procedures.
Key Challenges:
You will be working on establishing plant and process to produce materials required for launch activities, such as Hydrogen Peroxide, Hydrocarbons, Polymers, and Ablative Materials, while adhering to safety legislation and local regulation. You will also be managing and optimizing cleaning processes of hardware for use with liquid propellant service, supporting external suppliers to improve quality and supply assurances, and working with design and manufacturing engineers to develop and optimize production processes.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Process, or Chemical Engineering, experience with catalysts and electrochemical production, working experience in a processing facility, ideally handling dangerous goods, and working experience with relevant Australian Standards (AS4326, AS1894). You will also need the ability to obtain NV1 Security Clearance.
