About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to join our BootStack team.

This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-performing engineering team and drive innovation in modern distributed systems.

  • Leverage your technical expertise to optimize development and operations processes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team health indicators.
  • Mentor and guide engineers to achieve exceptional results.
  • Represent the team with stakeholders, customers, and external teams.
  • Ensure timely delivery of quality managed services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software delivery and operations management, as well as experience with OpenStack and Linux system administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a growing engineering team to optimize quality and velocity.
  • Identify and measure key performance indicators.
  • Implement disciplined engineering and operations processes.
  • Represent the team with respect to stakeholders, customers, and external teams.
  • Deliver quality managed services in a consistent and timely manner.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a technology field.
  • Proven track record of professional experience in software delivery or operations management.
  • Experience with OpenStack and Linux system administration.
  • Strong communication and cooperation skills.
  • Ability to work in a distributed team environment.
