Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical distribution systems, including overhead and underground lines. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute projects, as well as providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing electrical distribution systems, including planning, coordination, and implementation
  • Coordinating with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
  • Providing training and guidance to junior engineers and technicians
  • Performing quality control reviews and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should have a strong background in electrical distribution engineering, including experience with design software and collaboration tools. A professional engineer (PE) license is also required. Additionally, you should possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in distribution planning, distribution modeling, and distribution line design

Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems, design software, and collaboration tools; excellent communication and leadership skills

Professional Engineer License: Required

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with PLS-CADD and other design software; knowledge of National Electrical Safety Code (NESC)
