Job Title: Senior Distribution Manager

The Senior Distribution Manager oversees the distribution service business for a major logistics company in the Asia Pacific region. Their primary focus is on key customers such as DHL, FedEx & Amazon, as well as local customers like Australia Post and Thai Post.

The successful candidate will lead a team of distribution professionals and actively manage customer satisfaction to ensure recurring distribution business. With an extensive installed base over 500M EUR in APAC, this position plays a pivotal role in driving growth in the distribution services market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the distribution team in the Asia Pacific region, responsible for sales, contract management, spare part management, recurring revenue sales, warranty & quality, field service, and subcontractors.
  • Collaborate closely with other domain service leaders in the region to ensure alignment and effective resource sharing.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders up to senior management levels at both customer and company sides in the region.
  • Develop and continuously improve the company's distribution service proposition in the region.
  • Create business opportunities with distribution customers in the region and drive overall growth in the distribution services business.
  • Support the ramp-up of new distribution contracts and implement life cycle plans for key customers in the region.
Qualifications and Abilities:
  • At least 5 years of experience in service (management) roles, preferably with international exposure.
  • A results-driven entrepreneur, people manager, and effective communicator who can develop long-term supplier and customer relationships.
  • Background in automated handling systems, capital goods industry, or system integration business, with a deep understanding of business-critical systems.
  • Experience working with third-party service providers and subcontractors.
  • Familiarity with service contracts is an advantage.
  • Technical or commercial master's degree.
  • Strong customer focus and service mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Willingness to travel within the APAC region and to HQ (up to 40% of the time).
  • Drive for continuous improvement and a commercially minded approach.
