About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Director of Disability Services to join our team at Recruit Shop. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to drive real impact in achieving client choice, empowerment, and goals.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience working in the Disability sector, either in residential/respite services/SIL&SDA/Community. They will possess relevant qualifications in management and disability, health or welfare, as well as in-depth knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) and Supported Independent Living (SIL).

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations and administration of all projects in Sydney.
  • Support the development of specific proposals and budgets.
  • Act as the central contact and project coordinator for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality, innovative services.
  • Work with the team to create an employee and client experience that delivers exceptional value to the client.
  • Evaluate service delivery to ensure that client needs are being met in a safe and effective way.
  • Coordination of daily operations across all SIL & SDA houses, Community Access support and Day Program.
Requirements
  • A NSW driver's license, First Aid Certificate, and Police Check (or be willing to apply for one).
  • Ability to work flexible hours to suit the needs of the service and the people we support.
  • Strong attention to detail, diligent to process and policy, and the ability to multitask.
  • The ability to manage large and complex teams with SDA SIL Ecosystem.
  • Great client acquisition and retention, cross-sell and upsell skills.
