Chief Program Manager

As a seasoned program manager, you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of a cutting-edge defense capability project. Your leadership skills and experience will be instrumental in driving this complex program forward.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Leadership:
  • Manage day-to-day activities and deliverables of the Joint Integrated Control System project
  • Identify, assess and mitigate program risks, as well as manage schedule and program reporting
  • Coordinate with external resources, including vendors and support agencies
  • Project Coordination:
  • Conduct planning and coordination to meet program requirements and resource needs
  • Prepare progress and status reports for stakeholders
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure quality outcomes are delivered to customers and end-users throughout the program lifecycle
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Program or Business Management, or equivalent experience with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a defense project management role
  • Demonstrated competence in Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) competencies
  • Sound understanding of military operations across Air, Land, Maritime, Space and Information Domains
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-performance team
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence stakeholders at operational level
