About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Rockhampton. As a key member of our Community Development team, you will be responsible for managing civil design and documentation on a variety of urban, land, and subdivision projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, coordinate, and project manage urban, land, and subdivision projects from feasibility through to construction
  • Prepare technical reports and specifications
  • Provide technical expertise to clients and support projects
  • Manage projects, including scheduling and budget preparation
  • Coordinate between disciplines on multidisciplinary projects
  • Undertake and manage site inspections
  • Contribute to the development of Stantec's knowledge and skills in civil engineering
  • Maintain existing and develop new relationships with key clients
  • Assist in securing and delivering projects through business development and client relationship management
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering
  • Demonstrated experience in civil engineering design and project delivery, ideally in urban, land, and subdivisions
  • Experience and understanding of current civil engineering technologies, including design, modeling, and construction
  • Project management skills
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including report writing
