Job Summary
We're seeking a Staff Product Designer to collaborate with cross-functional teams and craft experiences that seamlessly connect our customers' needs with Airwallex's product capabilities. As a key member of our customer Onboarding Team, you'll shape user experiences that are both intuitive and effective.
Responsibilities
- Support and shape the evolution of Airwallex from a design perspective, ensuring consistency with and contributing to our brand and product architecture.
- Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, Product Strategists, and Writers to define problems & goals, map user flows, prototype interactions, and drive innovative new solutions.
- Develop and launch high-quality work that advances our mission of growing businesses beyond borders.
- Provide indirect leadership and mentorship to more junior designers.
- Build strong relationships with leaders inside and outside of core product teams, showcasing strong communication and executive stakeholder management skills.
- Have a keen understanding of research methods, technological, business, and user opportunities and constraints.
- Scope project work (in partnership with PMs and engineers) and help define the design process and timeline.
- Have a good understanding of Figma and other industry-standard design/research tools.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in product design within a software environment.
- Excellent UX, visual, and interaction skills and craft – a master in your field.
- Define the design direction and process and can lead others through it.
- Experience with making complex information, tools, and services easily digestible for your audience.
- Strong storytelling, presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience designing for SaaS products.
