About the Role

As a Staff Product Designer in our customer Onboarding Team, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the feasibility of design and craft experiences that seamlessly connect our customers' needs with Airwallex's product capabilities as they onboard onto our platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and shape the evolution of Airwallex from a design perspective, ensuring consistency with and contributing to our brand and product architecture.
  • Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, Product Strategists, and Writers to define problems & goals, map user flows, prototype interactions, and drive innovative new solutions.
  • Successfully develop and launch high-quality work that advances our mission of growing businesses beyond borders.
  • Provide indirect leadership and mentorship to more junior designers.
  • Build strong relationships with leaders inside and outside of core product teams, with strong communication and executive stakeholder management skills.
  • Have a keen understanding of research methods, technological, business, and user opportunities and constraints.
  • Scope project work (in partnership with PMs and engineers) and help define the design process and timeline.
  • Have a good understanding of Figma and other industry-standard design/research tools.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in product design within a software environment.
  • Excellent UX, visual, and interaction skills and craft – a master in your field.
  • Define the design direction and process and can lead others through it.
  • Experience with making complex information, tools, and services easily digestible for your audience.
  • Strong storytelling, presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience designing for SaaS products.
