About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled laboratory professional to support our Research, Development & Application function.

This role is primarily responsible for all activities related to sample preparation and maintenance of our RD&A facility excellence.

  • Mixing recipes in accordance with established preparation methods
  • Packing and labeling samples in accordance with quality standards
  • Ensuring retain samples are collected and stored appropriately
  • Supporting pilot plant material preparation and trials
  • Receiving and dispatching goods for RD&A
  • Maintaining stock control of raw materials and finished goods
  • Collecting and replenishing raw materials from manufacturing plant
  • Maintaining record documentation and upkeep of equipment
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives
  • Supporting Good Laboratory Practice expectations

The ideal candidate will possess a Diploma/Certificate in Laboratory techniques or a related discipline, with a minimum of 1 year of laboratory experience in weighing, compounding/processing and sample making in a food ingredient manufacturing environment. Strong teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills are essential. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines is required.

  • Contribute to the reliability of sampling operations
  • Support the Kerry RD&A team in maintaining RD&A facility excellence
  • Maintain compliance with expected GMP's, health and safety standards
Requirements:

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Certificate in Laboratory techniques or related discipline
  • Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience in weighing, compounding/processing and sample making in a food ingredient manufacturing environment
  • Strong team player, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks with speed and accuracy

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • HACCP, GMP and ISO 22000 certified environment
  • Computer literacy and good mathematic skills
  • Meticulous and ability to maintain high accuracy and repeatability in sample making
