Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to lead the design and development of key site master plans, building, and facility projects.

  • This is a temporary full-time opportunity, with a maximum duration of up to 2 years from August 2025.

The successful candidate will be responsible for project managing the design and development of key site master plans, building, and facility projects. They will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all necessary regulatory requirements.

  • This role requires excellent leadership and management skills, as well as a high level of technical expertise in architecture and project management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, architecture, or a related field, and will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Architecture, Urban Design, Engineering, or a related discipline;
  • Current Class C driver's license;
  • Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience in project management, design management, or a related field;
  • Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills;
  • Extensive experience in project managing the design of complex capital works/building projects to improve the built environment;
  • Adept at managing project budgets, project plans, cost plans, work breakdown structures, and Gantt charts for each project;
  • Demonstrated capital works project management experience ranging from engaging consultants, writing project briefs, project conception through to site investigation, brief preparation, design development, supervision of consultants;
  • Understanding of construction issues, terminology, materials, and methods;
  • Effective negotiation skills;
  • Experience in working within multi-discipline teams including architects, landscape architects, designers, artists, engineers, contract managers, quantity surveyors, contractors;
  • Display interpersonal skills in negotiation, advocacy, consultation skills, and strong customer service focus;
  • Eligibility for registration with AIA, AILA, PIA, or equal professional peak organization.
