The Mental Health Clinician will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to children and families.
- Developing and implementing therapeutic interventions to support the emotional well-being of children and young people.
- Collaborating with education staff to provide training and support in mental health awareness and promotion.
- Facilitating referrals to relevant mental health service providers to ensure seamless delivery of care.
- Delivering group interventions to at-risk children and their parents, addressing early warning signs of serious behavioral issues.
- Conducting assessments and identifying children and parents who would benefit from targeted interventions.
- Providing family-centered therapy, working closely with other agencies to address systemic challenges.
- Offering primary and secondary consultation services to promote collaborative practice.
- Designing and delivering education programs for education staff to enhance their skills in supporting students' mental health needs.
- Coordinating referrals to mental health service providers, streamlining access to essential care.
