Payroll Officer

About the role:
TP Human Capital is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Officer to join our client's team in Townsville. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accurate and timely fortnightly payrolls, adhering to legislation and company policies.
- Manage employee lifecycle from onboarding to termination, including system updates and documentation.
- Maintain employee data and generate reports.
- Ensure compliance with awards, enterprise agreements, and payroll regulations.
- Provide payroll and time and attendance system training.
- Handle ad-hoc payroll tasks as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Should have experience in end-to-end payroll.
- Advanced MS Office skills, with Excel being essential.
- Time and attendance system experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance.
- Excellent organizational and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
