Job Overview

A leading hospitality professional is required to drive the pre-opening of a high-end dining establishment in Melbourne. The role involves setting departmental standards, developing training programs, and spearheading a team of professionals to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

The ideal candidate will have previous leadership/management experience in a hospitality setting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the Food & Beverage Manager in ensuring departmental readiness for opening
  • Leading and coordinating the F&B team to deliver premium service
  • Preparing food and beverages for guests and presenting according to established health and presentation standards
  • Ensuring money handling procedures are followed and banking completed on each shift
  • Assisting with induction of new employees and performing on-the-job training
  • Coaching staff to enhance performance and maintaining wait staff stations throughout shifts
