Project Manager for Construction Refurbishment

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in a challenging construction refurbishment role.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project delivery, commercial acumen, contracts management, design management, OHS, programming/planning experience (MS Project), and running meetings with consultants and subcontractors.

The role will involve managing construction programs, ensuring quality delivery, identifying and managing construction risk, managing project expenditure and cash flow, and achieving external engineering design aspects of projects.

  • Develop comprehensive project programmes and communicate effectively to the team.
  • Deliver projects from inception through to completion, adhering to strict timelines and budgets.
  • Ensure construction programmes are followed and deliver on project quality to programme.
  • Identify and manage construction risk throughout all projects, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Manage project expenditure and cash flow to ensure financial stability.
  • Oversee external engineering design aspects of projects, collaborating with stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Lead design management initiatives to drive project success.
  • Effectively manage subcontractors on site, maintaining positive relationships and high-quality workmanship.
  • Maintain HSEQ requirements on the project, promoting a safe working environment.
  • Produce regular progress reports to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Meet and exceed client expectations through proactive communication and timely delivery.
