Job Title: Machine Operator
About UsWe are a leading Australian manufacturing business focused on innovative, sustainable, and high-performing building products and systems.
About the RoleThis Full-Time position is based at Thomastown VIC. You will be working with our team to inspect bricks as they pass by, remove rejects/seconds, and place second-class products on the seconds carousel. You will operate multiple machines, fault find, and perform quality control checks as part of your routine.
- Inspect bricks for defects and sort accordingly.
- Report colour variations to the relevant personnel.
- Cover breaks for other operators when needed.
- Assist with cleaning during breakdowns when directed.
- Carry out any other tasks assigned within your skill level.
You will be working the day shift, Monday to Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm (with casual OT on some Saturdays) + willingness to work additional overtime hours as required.
What We Are Looking ForA great work ethic and strong commitment to safe work practices and safety. Experience in a production or similar role is desirable. A strong commitment to safety awareness. Willingness to learn and absorb new information and skills. Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team. A current forklift license will be advantageous.
