About this Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate cleaner to join our team at St James Villa Matraville.

  • Key responsibilities include ensuring residents rooms and common areas are clean and presentable
  • Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation by working as part of a collaborative team
  • Supporting peers and contributing to a positive and cooperative team environment
  • Ensuring the safety of yourself, colleagues, and residents through vigilant work practices

Requirements:

  • A kind heart and genuine passion for caring for others, particularly the elderly
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Previous experience working as a cleaner is highly desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with experience interacting with a wide range of people
  • Able to establish and maintain professional relationships with residents and their families
  • A reliable team player with a strong commitment to teamwork
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to undergo a Police Check and NDIS clearance
