About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to provide home help services to our elderly clients.

  • General housekeeping and making beds will be part of your responsibilities.
  • You will also assist with cleaning, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
  • Care Worker tasks include washing, folding, and ironing laundry.
  • Meal preparation and grocery shopping will also be on your agenda.

In addition to home help services, you will provide personal care such as:

  • Getting clients out of bed, showered, and dressed for the day.
  • Assisting clients with taking their medications.
  • Providing mobility and therapy support.
  • Aiding clients with complex care needs, including dementia.
  • Offering social and emotional support to our clients.
  • Transporting clients to lifestyle activities or appointments.
  • Providing family carers with breaks and opportunities to engage in other activities.
What We're Looking For

We need someone who is passionate about providing an excellent service, enjoys having variety in their day, and can build positive relationships with clients and their families.

As a Care Worker, you will work independently and find solutions to everyday problems while knowing when to seek assistance from your manager.

Requirements
  • An Open class Australian Driver's Licence and an insured, roadworthy vehicle are essential.
  • You must have at least 3 months of experience in a similar professional role, preferably in aged care.
