Job Overview:

Senior Manager Assurance and Oversight Role

This critical position is pivotal to our organization's success, driving assurance and oversight in a dynamic environment. As a Senior Manager, you will have the opportunity to shape our future by leveraging your expertise to lead, plan, and perform Line 2 assurance and oversight of Line 1.

The role involves developing and executing a structured, risk-based assurance plan to ensure the highest level of quality and compliance. You will provide insightful assurance reports with clear actions and recommendations to drive business improvement.

  • Develop and execute against a comprehensive assurance plan.
  • Provide actionable assurance reports with targeted recommendations.
  • Lead and manage Line 2 assurance and oversight of Line 1 through rigorous reviews, oversight, challenge, and support on all non-financial risk matters.

This is a 12-month contract opportunity that offers flexible work arrangements and a hybrid model of a minimum of three days per week based out of our corporate offices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proven track record in assurance planning and execution.
  • Extensive experience in operational and compliance roles in banking or professional services firms.
  • Technical knowledge and experience in non-financial risk disciplines, including operational risk, compliance, business continuity, policy, framework, project risk, operational resilience, and IT/Data risk.
  • Ability to develop strategic, commercially viable solutions, demonstrating a pragmatic approach to implementing and advancing our Operational Risk Management Framework.
