Regulatory Insurance Obligation Specialist

**About the Role:**

We are seeking a skilled Regulatory Insurance Obligation Specialist to join our client's Motor Claims division. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing risk management strategies to drive compliance and excellence.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of business activities related to risk and control enhancements.
  • Regularly produce reports and assessments to evaluate ongoing initiatives and ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks, informing proactive planning and mitigation strategies.
  • Design and deliver workshops to educate colleagues on risk management best practices and document key controls.
  • Evaluate compliance with regulatory obligations, ensuring adherence to relevant codes of practice and WH&S standards.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Finance or Insurance sector.
  • Proven expertise in stakeholder management, with a strong focus on delivery in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in preparing board papers and reports.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills to effectively communicate complex information.
  • Demonstrated understanding of legislative, regulatory, and compliance obligations within the FSR environment.
