As a Financial Analyst in our Equity Research team, you will play a crucial role in supporting a Senior Analyst covering companies in the Oil, Gas, and Uranium sector. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and entrepreneurial culture.

Your key responsibilities will include updating and maintaining financial models and industry databases while undertaking company and market analysis. You will contribute to the publication of research reports and assist in reviewing quarterly results and sector updates.

You will also have the opportunity to generate new ideas, participate in coverage initiation on new companies, and engage with senior stakeholders. We encourage collaboration and innovation, and you will be able to build good relationships with your colleagues.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a passion for equity research and a willingness to learn. A tertiary qualification in a quantitative, economics, finance, or similar discipline is required. Strong numerical and modelling skills, as well as exceptional verbal and written communication skills, are essential.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, with experience in financial concepts such as ratio analysis, valuation techniques, and financial modelling. Completed or completing CA or CFA qualifications is advantageous.
