Job Title: Project Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Accountant to join our team. As a Project Accountant, you will be responsible for Month End Consolidation, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Budget and Forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Month End Consolidation: Prepare general journals, assist with month end reporting, maintain a clean and compliant Balance Sheet, and prepare month end report with analysis.
  • Accounts Payable: Assist with general purchasing activities in Ariba and SAP, maintain healthy accounts payable practices.
  • Accounts Receivable: Assist with the preparation of the monthly billing template and associated invoice to the client, report on the debtors ledger, and work with the contract to minimise ageing.
  • Budget and Forecasting: Prepare budget and forecast for each quarter, load prepared forecast to financial system.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years' experience in a Project Finance role
  • 3+ years' experience as an Accountant
  • Advanced working knowledge of SAP
  • Current knowledge of relevant General Accounting Standards
  • Exposure of Intermediate Excel
  • Capable of working both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks
