- Complete comprehensive assessments and develop personalized rehabilitation plans that support a whole-of-person approach to rehabilitation.
- Use lateral thinking and forward planning skills to identify potential return to work pathways in line with likely recovery milestones.
- Utilize problem-solving skills, clinical experience, and knowledge of injury management to perform assessments and facilitate the return to work of claimants.
- Work closely with stakeholders, including clients, families, insurance companies, employers, and healthcare professionals, to evaluate physical, psychological, and social factors.
- Presentation of case information and provision of credible recommendations/solutions to drive desired goals.
Requirements
- Tertiary-level qualification and appropriate full registration as a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, or Social Worker.
- Previous experience completing structured assessments is desired, or a passion for supporting injured individuals to identify strengths, transferable skills, and potential for new career directions.
- Experience with complex case management and supporting clients to achieve return-to-life or return-to-work outcomes despite challenging circumstances is beneficial.
- Driver's license and own vehicle are essential.
