About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled software developer to take on a technical lead position in our Melbourne office.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to streamline processes, improve efficiency and maintain a secure system environment. They will act as a strategic partner and advocate for technology solutions that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Critical assessment of business processes to reduce friction and deliver exceptional quality.
  • Advocacy and technical leadership for document automation and workflow systems.
  • Engagement with stakeholders to create and continuously improve processes, prioritising client requirements and business value delivery.
  • Maintenance of precedents and templates in document automation systems.
  • Development of SSRS reporting solutions.
  • Administration and maintenance of web portals.
  • Management of user licenses and training.
  • Liaison with vendors for provision of external support.
  • Maintenance of cyber security best practices and awareness of potential risks.
Requirements:
  • Advanced development skills in document automation and workflow systems.
  • Solid understanding of different areas of law.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and attention to detail skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organisational and administrative ability.
  • Excellent literacy and presentation skills.
  • SQL, SSRS and PowerBI reporting experience desirable.
Experience:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience working in a legal firm.
