Key Leadership Role: Maintenance Planning Supervisor
Job Description:This pivotal leadership position oversees a team within the Asset Management division, responsible for implementing effective equipment maintenance strategies to ensure the optimal health of our Fixed Plant Assets.
The primary objectives of this role are to optimize equipment reliability and achieve high maintenance efficiency through meticulous planning and scheduling of work orders. The position will oversee a team of 6 planners based in Perth.
- Lead the team in championing and maintaining efficient maintenance planning processes for our fixed plant assets.
- Collaborate with execution Supervisors to prioritize and process relevant maintenance notifications and work requests.
- Monitor work order backlogs and provide ready-to-execute jobs for opportunity maintenance windows.
- Evaluate work scopes for planned maintenance activities, ensuring accurate estimates for labor, skills, materials, equipment, and external services.
- Track and report on Maintenance Cost Budgets for maintenance activities, efficiencies, and productivity.
- Identify development needs of individuals and provide coaching, mentoring, and support to enhance their knowledge, skills, or performance.
- Establish and maintain strong links with key suppliers for supply, services, and technical support.
- Develop, review, and improve maintenance planning procedures and processes for HIO Assets.
- Provide guidance on mid-to-long-term component and maintenance forecasts.
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- Experience in maintenance planning for fixed plant assets.
- Strong skills in SAP maintenance module, including management of SAP PM Master Data, such as technical objects, maintenance plans, items, task lists, BOMs, and measuring points.
- Proven experience in leading a high-performing team.
- Ability to define accurate work scopes and develop procedures.
