About the role:

The Asset Management team is currently seeking a Supervisor Maintenance Planning - Fixed Plantto join them on a Monday-Friday Roster based at Perth with regular site travel. Reporting to the Superintendent Maintenance Planning, you will be responsible for leading a team and implementing effective equipment maintenance strategies to manage the health of our Fixed Plant Assets. The main objectives of this position are to optimise equipment reliability and deliver a high level of maintenance efficiency through accurate planning and scheduling of work orders.

This position will be responsible for a team of 6 Perth based Planners.

Duties:

Champion and lead the team with the maintenance planning and work management processes for our fixed plant assets
Conduct regular reviews with execution Supervisors to prioritise and process relevant maintenance notifications and work requests.
Monitor work order backlog and provide ready to execute jobs for opportunity maintenance windows
Ensure team are reviewing work scopes for planned maintenance activities ensuring that estimates for labour, skills, materials, equipment and external services are included
Monitor, report and reforecast Maintenance Cost Budgets for maintenance activities, efficiencies and productivity
Identify the development needs of individuals and coach, mentor, and support them to improve their knowledge, skills or performance
Establish and maintain strong links with key suppliers for supply, services & technical support
Establishing, reviewing and improving maintenance planning procedures and processes for HIO Assets
Provide guidance of mid to long term component and maintenance forecasts
Monitoring compliance to maintenance systems, process and procedures and ensuring appropriate information and training is available, coaching of maintenance planners.

Skills and Experience:

Experience in maintenance planning for fixed plant assets
Sound skills in SAP maintenance module. Including Management of SAP PM Master Data, including technical objects, maintenance plans, items, task lists, BOM's and measuring points
Experience in leading a high performing team
Ability to define accurate work scopes and develop procedures
