**Payroll Leadership Role**:
This is a senior-level role in payroll management, requiring the ability to oversee and process weekly payroll for 1,000+ employees in line with the Fast Food Industry Award.
The successful candidate will lead and develop a small team of part-time payroll staff, manage time and attendance systems, and ensure compliance with superannuation, PAYG, and payroll tax across multiple states.
Maintaining accurate employee records and interpreting award conditions are also key responsibilities, along with supporting internal audits and payroll queries.
The ideal candidate will have minimum 3 years' experience in a payroll leadership or senior payroll officer role, in-depth knowledge of Tanda (or similar platforms) and end-to-end payroll processing.
A solid understanding of the Fast Food Industry Award or similar high-volume awards is essential, as well as strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and an ability to meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are also required, along with a collaborative and adaptable attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and process weekly payroll for 1,000+ employees in line with the Fast Food Industry Award
- Lead and develop a small team of part-time payroll staff
- Manage time and attendance systems (Tanda), including onboarding, roster checks, and leave approvals
- Evaluate the performance of payroll processes and workflows and make recommendations for improvement
- Maintain accurate employee records, partnering with Ops and Talent teams to ensure data integrity
- Interpret award conditions and support internal audits and payroll queries
About You:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a payroll leadership or senior payroll officer role
- In-depth knowledge of Tanda (or similar platforms) and end-to-end payroll processing
- Solid understanding of the Fast Food Industry Award or similar high-volume awards
