Credit Risk Management Role

This is a pivotal position within our organization, where you will play a key role in making strategic decisions to minimize risk and maximize returns. As a Senior Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing credit exposures of an entity or region within a business segment.

  • Prepare entity or regional credit reports, plans, and forecasts.
  • Analyze trade finance and credit management skills to support the business.
  • Perform credit-worthiness reviews on new and existing accounts at the entity or region level, ensuring minimal risk to the business.
  • Develop and produce regional or global reports to monitor Accounts Receivable performance against approved business segment credit limits.

You will also be required to:

  • Support the standardization of processes within applicable entities or regions across the business unit.
  • Partner with sales/commercial functions on key business growth needs by providing credit/financial support.
  • Encourage cross-business segment communication on credit issues involving common customers within the region to develop risk mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial acumen: Interpreting and applying understanding of key financial indicators to make better business decisions.
  • Situational adaptability: Adapting approach and demeanor in real-time to match the shifting demands of different situations.
  • Credit Management: Assesses customer credit worthiness and risk to ensure that credit limits support sales strategies while maximizing accounts receivable collectability and minimizing bad debt balances.
