Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team on a diverse range of projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in design, specification, and reporting, as well as excellent client relationships skills.

This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting and varied projects, from design phase to construction activities. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering projects on time and within budget, while maintaining high-quality standards.

The Role:

  • Project Delivery: Timely delivery of projects across a range of sectors, including preparation of design specifications, reports, calculations, drawings, cost estimation and details/schedules.
  • Project Management: Manage all aspects of projects, including design, specification, and reporting.
  • Site Visits: Undertake site visits, provide advice, prepare reports, engineering and construction support services.
  • Collaboration: Participate in meetings with supervisors and project managers to review specifications, risks, and opportunities/alternative strategies.
  • Client Relationships: Establish and maintain excellent client relationships through a high-level consultative approach.

You Will Have:

  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering Degree qualification.
  • Recent, proven experience working on building services projects as a design engineer.
  • Understanding of Australian Building Codes and Standards (BCA/NCC) and strong technical knowledge of electrical issues.
  • Extensive project experience working to Australian Standards, dealing with utilities and other authorities.
  • Proven experience with low voltage power distribution, earthing, communications, security, and lighting system design.
  • Proficient in design software such as Bluebeam, Powercad, and AGI32.
