Electrical Project Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Project Specialist to join our team in a hybrid role working from our Perth CBD Head Office as well as FIFO on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Detailing and documenting all phases of projects, including design concepts, construction plans, and quality assurance processes.
  • Planning and management of project resources, including materials, personnel, and equipment.
  • Preparation of detailed work packs, schedules, and reporting documents to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Supporting project planning, budgeting, and forecasting to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Monitoring and resolving vendor non-conformances (NCRs) to minimize disruptions and optimize costs.
  • Ensuring compliance with client and statutory requirements for electrical quality and safety, including document control and auditing.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of electrical engineering principles, technologies, and industry standards to stay current and competitive.
About You:
  • You will have an Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering design concepts, practices, and software applications, including Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Project, and Primavera 6.
  • Proven experience in electrical construction, including fixed plant mining or other industrial construction projects.
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Efficiently diagnose and resolve design and functional issues arising during construction.
  • Deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
