
Clinical Recovery Specialist

As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting complex mental health recovery through expert psychological care. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives.
The successful candidate will have the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across hospital and community settings. You will deliver services across varied locations with strong links to NGOs and local providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct clinical assessments and deliver evidence-based therapies
- Work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
- Provide individual and group psychological interventions
- Use standardized tools to guide treatment planning
- Build strong service linkages to support holistic recovery
Requirements:
- Completion of a post-graduate degree at a Masters level or higher in Clinical Psychology from a recognized university
- Full registration as a Psychologist and eligible (or working towards eligibility) for AHPRA Area of Practice endorsement in Clinical Psychology
- Demonstrated skills and experience in working with people recovering from severe and complex mental health conditions and their families
- Demonstrated evidence-based skills in the provision of assessment, formulation, and group and individual treatment for people with diagnoses of severe and complex mental health conditions
- Demonstrated skills and experience in working with and supporting families and carers of consumers diagnosed with severe and complex mental health conditions
- Demonstrated skills in effective interpersonal communication, advocacy, and negotiation
- Able to work as an effective team member within a multi-disciplinary team
- Able to work autonomously as appropriate. Able to manage time well and prioritize workload
