Job Title: Clinical Care Specialist

The South Eastern Sydney Local Health District is seeking a skilled and dedicated Clinical Care Specialist to join their team.

Job Description: As a Clinical Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in an anaesthetic and recovery clinical setting. You will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive high-quality, person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in an anaesthetic and recovery clinical setting
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patient needs
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines

Requirements:

  • Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with Medication endorsement
  • Demonstrated recent clinical experience as an Enrolled Nurse in an anaesthetic and recovery clinical setting
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to identify key messages, issues, and concerns when communicating with others
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries when dealing with complex situations
  • Current computer skills and ability to use health information systems
  • Able to prioritize and organize workload effectively
