Supporting Vulnerable Children and Families

As a dedicated professional in Integrated Family Services, you will provide essential support to children, young people, and their families through case management and group work. This critical role involves working with individuals who face complex challenges including drug and alcohol issues, family violence, mental health concerns, homelessness, and cycles of disadvantage and poverty.

The families we serve present with a range of needs, resulting in chronic neglect and cumulative harm. Your expertise and compassion will be invaluable in helping these families overcome adversity and achieve a better quality of life.

This is a full-time, ongoing role based in Horsham, offering a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group support to vulnerable children, young people, and their families.
  • Develop and implement case plans to address the complex needs of clients.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in human services, welfare, or social work.
  • Valid driver's license for Victoria.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with sensitive and personal data.
  • Capacity to work independently and manage competing priorities.
