Job Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced Acute Mental Health Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, devise care plans, implement them, and evaluate the care provided to mental health patients.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to formulate tailored care strategies.
  • Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to physician orders.
  • Continuously monitor the mental health status of patients and promptly address any changes.
  • Provide patient and family education and support.
  • Ensure strict compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Preferred previous experience in acute mental health nursing.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
  • Proficient problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Dedication to patient-centered care.
