Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the start-up and ongoing management of clinical trials, ensuring timely completion of tasks and documentation.
- Work closely with research leads, principal investigators, and clinical staff to ensure recruitment targets and timelines are met.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including patients, sponsors, and research partners.
- Perform clinical tasks, such as vital signs, ECGs, and medication management, within your scope of practice.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry, sample processing, and coordination of sample collection and dispatch.
- Prepare for and host monitoring and close-out visits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory, administrative, and clinical frameworks, and current clinical issues and practice.
- AHPRA registration with relevant nursing experience.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in clinical research coordination, nursing, science, or Phase 1 research, with an equivalent undergraduate degree.
- Strong computer literacy, with knowledge of clinical trials software and MS Office suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of initiative, flexibility, and ability to meet deadlines while balancing multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice and applicable national and international laws and regulations.
