Overview

In this role, you will be working with the Actuarial systems team to develop and maintain actuarial projection models using the Prophet enterprise platform. The successful candidate will have strong technical skills in programming and data analysis, as well as experience with Prophet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, test, and implement actuarial projection models to meet additional model requirements from strategic projects impacting finance analysis, reporting, and operational processes.
  • Analyse and specify data requirements for Prophet model inputs and outputs.
  • Modify DCS processes to maintain system integration points in line with model changes.
  • Contribute to the build and implementation of data flow processes interacting with the IDR (Insurance Data Repository) to meet IFRS reporting requirements.
Requirements
  • Qualified Actuary or nearly qualified.
  • 7+ years of life insurance experience.
  • Deep knowledge and experience with Prophet (programming language and software operation).
  • Strong technical skills in programming and data analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Ability to sense-check complex results.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to understand computer programming good practice.
