Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Governance Specialist to join our team at KPMG. As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for advising clients on tax governance and transparency matters.

Your Opportunity:

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, as well as experience in tax governance, risk and compliance or similar fields. You will be responsible for analysing and preparing reports on tax governance matters, and developing professional relationships with clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and enhance tax governance frameworks and controls
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of tax control frameworks
  • Support clients with measures to improve tax control frameworks
  • Develop and implement tax transparency reports
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A passion for helping shape the future of tax
  • In-house or advisory experience in tax governance, risk and compliance
  • Experience in applying ATO guidance on tax governance
  • An enquiring mind willing to challenge assumptions and current positions
