We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Specialist in Psychiatry to join our Mental Health Services. The successful candidate will provide high-quality diagnostic and consultative services, as well as participate in teaching, research, and quality improvement activities.
About the Role:
As a Staff Specialist in Psychiatry, you will work within a Community Mental Health team based at Camperdown, providing direct care and clinical leadership to young people experiencing persistent and significant mental health problems. You will ensure a high standard of professional performance and foster an academic environment that supports education, research, and professional development.
Requirements:
To be eligible for this role, you must be registered or eligible for specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and hold Fellowship of the Royal Australian New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) or equivalent specialist recognition. You should also have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
