Clinical Information Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Plan, manage, and govern all activities of the Clinical Information Department.
  • Provide timely and accurate patient demographic, clinical, and statistical information to facilitate direct and indirect patient care while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Manage record control and storage, medico-legal services, Patient Administration System management and training, coding records, provision of records and data for research, and design of forms.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Health Information Management and eligibility for full membership to professional health information organizations.
  • Strong leadership skills with highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in developing policies/procedures, data/information reports, and quality improvement activities.
  • High-level knowledge and experience with computer systems including electronic medical records and productivity software.
