We are a member-owned music rights management organisation, positioned at the intersection of music, data and technology. Our team is responsible for ensuring the highest quality data is received on time and to the required specification.

Job Description:

The MRT Reporting Administrator will be the main point of contact for reporting from Music Recognition Technology (MRT) data suppliers, who supply cue sheet and/or transmission reports relating to the broadcast of music used in advertisements across Australia and New Zealand.

This role requires developing and maintaining a positive working relationship within the MRT supply chain, ensuring that all stakeholders receive accurate and timely information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the relationship with MRT data suppliers
  • Receive and ingest cue sheet and transmission data related to music used in commercials
  • Manage works and cue sheets related processes for Australian and New Zealand TV and radio stations, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
  • Prepare data for APRA AMCOS royalty distributions
  • Proactively provide reporting to management on progress throughout the quarter

Requirements:

  • Maintain relationships with external and internal stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with an understanding of broader processes and the role of context
  • Data driven, with an interest and aptitude for working with big data sets
  • Proactive and supportive team player who can work well unsupervised
  • Capacity to multitask, prioritise well and adapt to changing needs
