Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our multidisciplinary team at Nepean Hospital.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing health district. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe environment for staff, volunteers, contractors, patients, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe working environment for all stakeholders.
  • Respond effectively to changing and challenging situations.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of management, staff, and a diverse range of patients and members of the public.
  • Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Participate in a 24-hour/seven-day rotating roster.

Requirements:

  • Certificate II in Security Operations with a current NSW Security Licence class 1A.
  • Effective experience working in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, staff, and a diverse range of patients and members of the public.
  • Practical knowledge of security equipment, including CCTV operations and access control systems.
