We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Care Aust. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and companionship to individuals in need, helping them to maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide daily living assistance, including showering, personal hygiene, mealtimes, and general movement.
- Assist with medication and simple wound dressings.
- Support residents with community-based recreational time and social activities.
- Certificate III in Individual Support or Certificate IV in Disability Care.
- Working With Children's Check (Employee).
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Current Driver's License and own car.
- Covid 19 Vaccination Certificate.
- Police Check.
- A competitive hourly rate of $30.00 - $35.00.
- A casual work arrangement with 10-15 hours per week.
- A rotating roster with morning shifts, Monday to Friday.
- A car for transportation.
- Availability for short duration shifts in different locations.
