As a Geologist, you will play a pivotal role in our daily mining operations. This hands-on opportunity is ideal for an emerging Geologist who thrives in underground environments and enjoys seeing the direct impact of their work.

You will split your time between underground and office-based tasks, working closely with all mining and technical stakeholders to maintain geological integrity and support mine planning functions.

This role offers a mix of underground and office-based work, providing you with a unique chance to develop your skills in both areas.

Some of the key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Maintaining safe production while minimising ore loss and dilution
  • Working with mining contractors to ensure efficient and effective operations
  • Validating haulage data and ensuring accurate records are kept

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of geological mapping, stope inspections, and validating haulage data.

Additionally, you should be proficient in using Deswik, Leapfrog, and geological databases to aid in your work.
