The Food and Beverage Manager Role

We are seeking a passionate and service-obsessed Food and Beverage Manager to lead the food and beverage operation at Peppers Manor House. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maximising opportunities in each service period with a creative and insightful approach
  • Providing exceptional service and utilising knowledge of fine wine to deliver memorable experiences
  • Leading a team to create a positive workplace culture and engage, motivate, and develop staff
  • Working closely with the Executive Chef to create menus and wine and beverage lists
  • Managing operational requirements of the food and beverage department
  • Completing administrative and planning tasks, including rostering, reporting, and stock control
  • Driving revenue and increasing exposure

About You

  • You will hold a valid NSW RSA
  • Have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or Assistant Food and Beverage Manager in a similar business
  • Have sound operational experience of conferencing, weddings, and events
  • Be able to work within allocated budgets, stock control, and rostering
  • Be a strong communicator with well-developed stakeholder management skills
  • Be able to work a flexible roster, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Be exceptionally organised with the ability to prioritise and remain calm under pressure
