As a key member of our Insurance Team, you will contribute to business growth objectives by providing technical assistance and advice. This role involves obtaining insurance quotes, processing placements, and supporting the Risk Services field team.

About this Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established account executive in a market leading insurance services company. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of retail and wholesale insurance risks, providing consistent and professional advice, and responding promptly to inquiries and requests from stakeholders.

Key Duties:

  • Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of retail and wholesale insurance risks, focusing on profitable growth and providing consistent and professional advice.
  • Policy Renewal: Collaborate with RAMs, members, or clients to gather underwriting information for negotiating, amending, lapsing, or canceling existing insurance arrangements with insurance companies.
  • Claims: Act on behalf of RAMs, members, or clients in settling claims, striving for timely and favorable claim settlements.
  • Business Development: Contribute to retaining existing business and contributing to new business activities such as targeting prospective clients, handling inquiries, conducting client visits, and engaging in telephone prospecting.

Requirements and Ideal Profile:

  • Previous experience in commercial broking, preferably with SMEs.
  • Tier 1 RG146 qualification (essential).
  • Experience with iBais (desirable).
  • Excellent communication, including verbal, written and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
