JLL is a global leader in real estate, and we're seeking a skilled Senior Portfolio Accountant to join our team. As a key finance business partner, you'll assist in the financial control of a portfolio of commercial, retail, and industrial properties for our client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with Property Managers to ensure financial control and accuracy
  • Deliver a set of financial reports for the client's asset portfolio
  • Prepare and process journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and monthly invoicing
  • Manage tenant arrears and process client remittances
  • Assist with annual budgets and outgoings recoveries
  • Liaise with clients and attend to their queries
  • Participate in process improvement projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines
  • Professional qualifications (CA/CPA) or studying towards
  • Prior experience in the property industry (commercial, retail, residential, or industrial)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders and clients
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Exposure to asset management software (YARDI or MRI) a plus
