Unlock Your Potential as a Senior Portfolio Accountant at JLL

We are seeking an analytical accounting professional to join our Client Accounting Services Group based in Sydney CBD. As the Senior Portfolio Accountant, you will play a key role in the financial control of a portfolio of commercial, retail, and industrial properties for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review monthly financial reports, including client-specific reporting
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure timely completion of reporting
  • Prepare and approve journals, ensuring accurate and compliant financial records
  • Apply IFRS accounting and reporting principles to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
  • Manage monthly invoicing and tenant arrears, ensuring timely and accurate processing
  • Process client remittances and assist with annual budget preparation and outgoings recoveries
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders, providing exceptional customer service and support
  • Reconcile balance sheets and tenant accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Participate in process improvement projects, driving efficiency and effectiveness in our accounting processes
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Professional qualifications (CA/CPA) or studying towards
  • Prior experience in the property industry (commercial, retail, residential, or industrial) highly regarded
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and asset management software (YARDI or MRI) highly regarded
